The “Sign up” earning rule rewards customers automatically when they create an account in your store. It’s a simple yet effective way to encourage sign-ups.
How it works
When a customer registers for an account, the system automatically applies the configured points to their balance. The reward then appears in their loyalty history inside the Loyalty Widget.
Enabling this method applies retroactively. Customers who already have accounts in your store will automatically receive account creation points upon their next qualifying activity in the loyalty program.
Setting up the rule
1. Specify points earned
Choose how many points customers will receive when creating an account.
2. Customize widget texts
Configure the award title and description that will appear in the Loyalty Widget.
These two lines create the card for this earning method in the widget, letting customers know what they can earn.
3. Save your settings
Once saved, the rule applies automatically to all account registrations.
