Showing "Loyalty program summary" in customer accounts

If you enable our app’s customer account extension, customers will easily view their loyalty program summary (i.e. points balance and VIP tier) on their profile and order pages.

This touchpoint boosts ongoing engagement with your loyalty program, enhancing the customer account experience.

The customer accounts extension is available only if you’re using the new customer accounts. The feature isn’t available for legacy accounts.

1. Configure the block in Alpha Loyalty

Before enabling the block inside your theme, first configure what it says.

1. Go to Embedded blocks → Program summary - Customer accounts in your Alpha Loyalty dashboard and click Customize.

2. Customize your texts and save the changes.

Once the block is configured, you can enable it inside your theme.

2. Enable "Loyalty program summary" in your theme

1. In Alpha Loyalty, click Manage in Theme Editor.

2. On the left side menu, add the Loyalty program summary block to your Orders or Profile page template.

3. Once the extension is added, change the position if needed.

4. Click Save and the block will be added to the location you have selected.

You can also access the same template from your Shopify admin. To do this, go to Settings > Checkout.

In the Configurations section, click Customize next to the checkout that you want to edit.

3. At the top menu bar, select the Orders or Profile page.

4. On the left side menu, switch to Apps, search for Alpha Loyalty extensions, and add the extensions you prefer.
